6.4B - Annual Draft Pool Scouting Update
To ensure the Draft Pool remains properly scouted following the substantial editing and finalization of the annual pool, the League will conduct one manual scouting update each season on the day prior to the MLB Draft Combine.
This update is necessary because significant edits can be made to the Draft Pool after its initial creation. The League must update the scouting information associated with the finalized pool so that teams are not forced to draft with incomplete or outdated scouting information.
The annual scouting update will be performed once per season only, on the day prior to the Draft Combine. No additional manual league-wide scouting updates will be conducted outside of this designated period.
The purpose of this update is to ensure that the finalized Draft Pool has accurate and usable scouting information while maintaining a consistent and predictable process for all organizations.
