Creating a player is free.
2. Earn Booster Points
Earn Booster Points by watching the MLM Twitch stream. The more you watch, the more points you’ll have available to develop your player.

You cannot spend more Booster Points than you currently have, so keep an eye on your balance when planning upgrades.
3. Boost Your Player
All player boosts must be created using the official MLM Boost Builder.
Use your Booster Points to improve your player’s attributes. Each attribute has multiple boost levels, with each level requiring a certain number of Booster Points.
For example, upgrading an attribute from Level 0 to Level 1 may cost 5,000 Booster Points.

Important: Discord Boost Submissions
After completing the Boost Builder, use the Copy Submission button and paste the copied text into Discord.
DO NOT ADD ANY OTHER TEXT TO YOUR DISCORD POST. Post ONLY the exact text copied by the Copy Submission button.
Do not add a message, comment, introduction, note, emoji, or any other text before or after it. The copied submission must remain by itself so it can be properly imported into the MLM Boost Generator.
Your boost may not be processed if this warning is ignored.
4. How Boost Values Are Determined
Each boost level has a projected rating range. The MLM Boost Generator randomly determines your Final Boost Value within that range.
For example:
LVL 5 (200–220 / 250)
In this example:
200–220 is the possible range for the boost.
The MLM Boost Generator randomly selects a value within that range.
The generated number becomes your Final Boost Value.
250 represents the maximum possible value for that attribute in the OOTP editor.
5. Re-Rolls
Once an attribute has reached its maximum boost level, you may spend additional Booster Points to re-roll its Final Boost Value.
Re-rolls are only permitted on attributes that have reached their maximum boost level.
A re-roll costs the top-level boost price for that attribute category.
The Booster Point cost is charged regardless of the result.
A new result is applied only if it is higher than your previous best result.
Your rating can never decrease as a result of a re-roll. The highest result is always retained.
There is no limit on re-roll attempts, provided you have enough Booster Points to pay for them.
Created Player Rating & Development Disclaimer
All Created Players remain subject to the normal development mechanics of Out of the Park Baseball, including Talent Change Randomness (TCR).
Major League Managers currently uses a TCR setting of 70. For reference, 100 is OOTP’s standard setting and 200 is the maximum.
TCR can cause a player’s ratings, talent, development, and career trajectory to naturally increase or decrease over time. Created Players are not protected from TCR because Booster Points have been used on them.
OOTP Version Changes
When Major League Managers transitions to a newer version of Out of the Park Baseball, player ratings may change due to updates to the game’s rating scales, player evaluation systems, development systems, game engine, or other underlying mechanics.
A new version of OOTP may interpret existing ratings differently, potentially resulting in increases or decreases to a player’s displayed ratings or performance even when no manual changes have been made by MLM administration.
Acceptance of Risk
By creating, boosting, or owning a Created Player, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with TCR and OOTP version changes.
Changes resulting from these normal game mechanics are not grounds for appeals, rating resets, player recreation, Booster Point refunds, or other compensation.

Overall (OVR) and Potential (POT)
General Principles:
When a player is created, there are two distinct categories of attributes available: Overall (OVR) and Potential (POT).
- OVR categories reflect a player’s current, present-day ability.
- POT categories, identified with an asterisk (*), increase only a player’s ceiling for the future. They do not affect the current OVR.
Batters:
For batters, categories begin with the following assigned OVR values upon creation.
- Personality Ratings – 46 OVR
- Batting Ratings* – 194 OVR
- Offensive Ratings – 49 OVR
- Defensive Ratings – 49 OVR
Pitchers:
For pitchers, categories begin with the following assigned OVR values upon creation.
- Stamina, Hold Runners, and BABIP – 43 OVR
- Raw Movement and Control* – 168 OVR
- Velocity* – 89–91 MPH
- Pitch Ratings* – 194 OVR
Rule: Players cannot boost OVR in any category marked as POT. These categories are strictly reserved for potential growth.

Feeder Leagues
The league operates with two designated feeder leagues. Both leagues are designed to populate the annual MLB First-Year Player Draft pool and serve as the primary pipeline for created players and amateur talent entering the league file. The structure and eligibility rules for each feeder league are as follows:
- Comprised of 18 teams.
- Players enter the Origination League at age 15.
- Players are eligible to be drafted into the MLB at age 17.
- Comprised of 18 teams.
- Players enter the Evolution League at age 17.
- Players are eligible to be drafted into the MLB at age 19.
Each year’s draft class will include players from both feeder leagues, creating a mixed pool of high-upside, younger prospects and more developed, draft-eligible players.
