Phillies trade:

• 3B Chris Blue (100% retained)
• SP Lazaro Saavedra (CAL-WNTR)
• SP/3B Matt Morgan (R-)
• SP Victor Negrin (R+)

 

Cubs ship off their 1st for a talented SP prospect in Saavedra and another MLB bat/glove in my boy Blue. Morgan is an interesting two-way player while our scout thinks Negrin could grow into a 5th starter. Overall this is great value for Chicago as Saavedra alone was a former first round pick.
